The live action retelling of the classic Disney animated film, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, hits theaters this October. The film, starring Angelina Jolie in the title role, is a sequel to the 2014 film Maleficent. It picks up several years after the events of the first film, with Maleficent and Aurora (Elle Fanning) now living in peace in the Moors. But this idyll is threatened when Aurora becomes engaged to Prince Phillip (Harris Dickinson), and Maleficent’s nemesis, Queen Ingrith (Michelle Pfeiffer), uses the occasion to launch an attack on the Moors. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is directed by Joachim Rønning, and also stars Ed Skrein, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Sam Riley.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on February 4, 2020.

However, as they grow older, Stefan’s love for Maleficent turns to ambition, and he betrays her, stealing her wings to become king. This act of betrayal breaks Maleficent’s heart and turns her into a bitter, evil woman bent on revenge. Over the years, she becomes the self-proclaimed “Mistress of All Evil”, and plots to destroy Stefan’s kingdom and ruin his life. However, her plans are thwarted when Stefan’s daughter, Aurora, is born. Maleficent takes a liking to the child and ultimately decides to spare her. In the end, Maleficent and Stefan are reconciled, and she regains her wings.
